I see myself as a creator of functional art—pieces made to be used, worn, and lived in. My work is rooted in clothing design, where durability and beauty aren’t opposites but partners. I’m drawn to the way garments change over time, shaped by the person wearing them, picking up marks, repairs, and stories along the way. That evolution is where the real character lives. Long before I was designing clothes, I learned these values through boardsports and surfboard shaping. Making objects by hand, meant for motion, wear, and experience. Those lessons still guide how I think about construction, materials, and intention in everything I make.
Growing up surrounded by boardsport culture through my dad, his shop, and too many stories, I learned that the best creations aren’t meant to sit untouched. They’re meant to do what they were built for. That mindset carries directly into my clothing today. I design garments to be worn hard, repaired often, and remembered. Each piece is an invitation to use it fully, to make it your own, and to let it collect a history alongside you. My goal isn’t just to make clothes, but to create something that becomes part of someone’s daily life, carrying meaning long as the fabric shows its age.
